The Upper and Middle Elbe River Basin District Plan is a conceptual document prepared by the Elbe River Basin administration in cooperation with regional authorities and central water authorities.
Implementation of the Plan of the Upper and Middle Elbe River Basin district will have significant impact on the surface and groundwater quality and quantity and subsequently on the potential water use in the next decades. Everyone uses water, being it for individual needs, for recreation or for economic activities. Good status of surface water and groundwater is therefore our common goal, which can be promoted by each of us.
